EMERGENCY APPEAL: Nepal earthquake relief

We're raising immediate funds for our anti-trafficking partners in Kathmandu -- New Light Nepal. In 2013, Born2Fly partnered with New Light Nepal and trained 42 young women to teach Born2Fly. Ever since then they have gone all over Nepal teaching Born2Fly, starting Mothers Against Trafficking Clubs, and more.

We were devastated to learn that one of these passionate young women, Anita, was killed in the earthquake. This audacious warrior once rescued 3 girls from the hands of traffickers. To honor her memory and legacy, Born2Fly is raising funds for New Light Nepal's earthquake relief and anti-trafficking work. Please give generously by clicking the red donate button:

B2F around the world

Nepal:
Born2Fly co-sponsored train-the-trainer workshops for more than 40 young women from villages where girls are regularly trafficked. This is one of the recent trainings. These young women are now back in their own villages holding awareness and prevention programs for their own communities--all using the B2F curriculums and wordless book.

Kenya: Born2Fly co-sponsored train-the-trainer workshops in Nairobi for dozens of teachers, social workers, attorneys, and other community leaders to equip them to fight trafficking. "[These trainings] will be a step and a gateway to reach the whole of East Africa," one of our partners told us. "This will be a life-transforming moment for many generations."

Bulgaria: "We're so happy to have Born2Fly in eastern Europe because of the tremendous trafficking problem here. The B2F program is a good way to talk to younger children about human trafficking. Warning children about the dangers of child trafficking can prevent it."

Uganda: "We're so excited about Born2Fly in Uganda. We introduced the program to the community at our May Day anti-trafficking event. Children dressed as butterflies and we started the day with a parade through the streets. Thank you for your work and partnering with us. B2F is such an amazing program and it's wonderful to use it, assisting us so we don’t have to write our own. We love it!"

Russia: "Thank you for B2F. Thank you for not being indifferent. This program
has changed many lives."

Thailand: "Our kids love the B2F book and curriculum! Before, they would run off to places in our neighborhood without letting us know where they were going. Now they understand why we’re always telling them to ask before they go."

Romania: "Romania may be the number one origin country for trafficking in Europe. Born2Fly gives us a tool to reach out to vulnerable [children] and help them understand the dangers in order to prevent them from making wrong choices."

Worldwide: What's the quickest most cost-effective way to reach hundreds of millions of kids before the traffickers do? By radio! Born2Fly has created a delightful dramatized radio program for kids that broadcasters anywhere in the world can translate and air. Click on the "radio" page for details.
