Important information about international copyrights

All Born2Fly materials -- curriculums, wordless book, etc. -- are protected by international copyright laws. As you teach Born2Fly, we encourage you to add your own material, activities, and ideas according to your own culture, the age of your students, the trafficking situation in your area, etc. 

You may not, however, republish our materials with your additional material added. Also, you may not redraw the Born to Fly wordless book and republish it. We are happy to give you our materials without charge and we ask you to respect our copyright.

How to download the files on this page

Just click any of the download buttons below and save the pdf file to your own computer. For the curriculums, you can print out copies for your teachers and assistants. For the wordless book, you can project it onto a screen, show it on your laptop or computer monitor, or print out copies (see below for printing tips).

BORN TO FLY CURRICULUM (for young children)

70-page, 6-session curriculum with separate, age-appropriate tracks for young children and teenagers. Available in 11 languages with more on the way:

BORN TO FLY WORDLESS BOOK (for young children)

Companion children's book that correlates with the curriculum. 80 pages, 500 illustrations. See "wordless book printing tips" below for helpful information.

Hi-resolution: Choose this option if you plan to print the wordless book or show it on screen. The files for the book are too large to transmit at once so it is broken into 4 parts. Be sure to download all 4 parts.

Lo-resolution: Choose this option if you need a smaller file or if you want to preview the book quickly on your computer.

Wordless book printing tips

1. The PDF for the wordless book is set to the international standard of A4 (which is slightly different than US letter size). This is to accommodate our international partners. If you need to print on a US printer letter size paper (8.5x11), just print at 100% and center the page. We specifically created our design so that it would appear fine regardless of your paper size.

2. We created the wordless book so that it could be printed at either the international A4 size or at US letter size (8.5x11). The default size is set to A4 (which is a little longer than US letter size). If you need to print on US letter-size paper, just print at 100% and center the page and it will print fine.

3. If you plan to print on both sides of a page, there will be a large amount of ink on both sides of the paper so test-print a few pages to check for saturation and readability. You’ll need to use heavy paper to prevent ink from seeping through.

4.  The wordless book reads from left to right, so if you plan to bind it, binding should be on the left. There is enough margin to bind on the left without losing any of the pictures. We recommend spiral binding so that the book will lie flat when opened.

5. It's best not to print the wordless book on a small desk-top printer because it will use a large amount of ink or toner.

This download page does not appear on the Born2fly website menu, so be sure to save this URL in a safe place so that you can return here. We add new translations all the time and you are pre-approved so you can download whatever you need, when you need it.

We require each organization that downloads the Born2Fly materials to register as you did, so please do NOT share these curriculums, this page, or the URL with anyone outside your organization. If another organization wants to teach Born2Fly, ask them to fill out the registration form on this site and we'll be happy to process it.
